It is easy to take a picture with a camera and it is easy to take own photo from a beautiful girl even when she is braely clothed and posing for you. Okay, you have to set some little details correctly, the light etc. You may guide her with some helping advices for her pose as well but in the end, you just press the button and its done …
Thats what most peaole really believe. But it is indeed not this way. Beside the planning you did prior to the shooting, your active help while shooting, your complete setup work for light, dresses, colors, hair, make up, drinkes, meals, location etc. you now have the ultimate fun tp work on the picture. In case of JPG hmmm… dont do that …better you stay with RAW. And the complete process is restating again. You rethink the situation, your and her emotions, your intentions and the result. And now you can visualize your final ideas which could not be done in the setup.

The kind of colorization, the type of blending the bloom with her body are such things which are hard to realize for an amateur but can easily be done in post processing. Go, leave your house for a while and shoot flowers, plants, the grass, trees, landscapes even insects or animals. I do so, even night scenes with blurred lights. Just to have material for further use in pictures i have no idea of until now. One never knows. Its better to be prepared :)

Do you really think only the young and only the slimmest girls can do a beautiful and stunning job in front of your camera ? Ever thought it could be a mistake ? Ask a mature Lady and you will be surprised. They can do that job and they will do it for sure. My expereinece is that the more skilled and more experienced Ladies are so wonderful in front of the cam. They do not produce any trouble, the do not hesitate in posing, they just know how they have impact to the scene. Yes, they need guidance for sure and yes they may have let me say more curvy bodies. But that produces a different kind of tension. A different kind of emotions, sensuality and erotic touch. It is way more realistic

And yes, they have imperfections. That is your task to minimize such. Set the light accordingly, minimize and even their natural skin imperfections, their little wrinkles. Even in pos production you have the chance to give back some years, to repaint her with a touch of new reached youth. Try it. She will like it and you as well. For sure. BTW: its easier to get them acting in front of your cam simply because of her life experience.

Here ist the proof. And i have to say it was such a pleasure and great fun to shoot with this extraordinary and beautiful woman. Thanks Sandra. And for all followers: It is not that difficult to get pictures like that. This was a simple one light shoot. The little Octa-Firefly right above her an me balancing on the edge of the bed. Josh, thats dangerous, really dangerous. Look her facial expression, her pose, how she attracts and seduce. The rest is simply done by a bit of post processing. Nothing special

Offering a sofa, some veils and pillows and let the scene go, let it flow to what it wants to flow. Just watch and take your pictures. You can see when your subject feels comfortable with the scene. When she comes to express emotions your viewfinder will show it and you have the chance to catch this Boom Boom effect picture. Enjoy it and try it by your own. Setup is easy. A sofa, some pillows, a pink and large veil, one flash light, a camera and YOU and your ideas.

You left too early. The only reminder of you, the last sweet warm spot in the bed, the switched on little light and a touch of parfume in the air… You left too early, no goodbye kiss, no smile… made me sad … alone in the hotel room with sweet memories of you.

Udaipur – the feet

The feet — our girls from Udaipur, not only a veil, a face or a beautiful body or jewelry. Often not really seen but the have an important role as well : The feet, painted red, doing heavy duty execution, moving gently and elegant. And after their job, they relax on the bed, waiting for my camera :)

After all, the new day arrived. Sitting on her bed, looking at him, full of love and aspiration the young morning sun came thruogh her windows. Gently touching her back, warm and intense, surrounding her with a golden touch. He looked into her eyes, blinded by her beauty, her golden glow. That was what he missed so long while out in the bloody fields of war.

That was her words, when her husband, the Samurai, entered the house, entered her room. A smile on his face, answered from her with a sight of demand, a sign of pure temptation. Still on her bed, still her Tanto in her hands but ready to put it down for her man. And he, coming home, without a word, bowing over her, throughing a gentle kiss onto her face. The rest is your imagination, dear reader….

Again it is done with Olympus E-P3, Zuiko 45mm, F1.8, ISO200, 1/80 second. No tricks…

Under attack …

Under attack, that was the short storyboard, the theme for a short boudoir shoot we did a few days ago and we did a second thing. We did NOT use a DSLR camera for this, to show you that good outcome does not mean necessarily a high end superduper DSLR. I used a mirrorles systemcamera, yes my infamous E-P3 with a 25 mm f1.4 prime lens. And we did it without any additional tools. No flash, no additional light, no additional reflectors. The room and its equipment was used. The window, the normal veils, beds, sheets…. And as Theme: Under Attack !! So here a examples on what we got:

As you can see it was fun !

and it had a special tension as well

And she did the attack !! Is was a joy to work this out. And so easy and fast with the small camera as well. Try it yourself and be delighted.

As we were. Little cams can do excellent outputs. But it is YOU who produces the pictures.
