It is easy to take a picture with a camera and it is easy to take own photo from a beautiful girl even when she is braely clothed and posing for you. Okay, you have to set some little details correctly, the light etc. You may guide her with some helping advices for her pose as well but in the end, you just press the button and its done …
Thats what most peaole really believe. But it is indeed not this way. Beside the planning you did prior to the shooting, your active help while shooting, your complete setup work for light, dresses, colors, hair, make up, drinkes, meals, location etc. you now have the ultimate fun tp work on the picture. In case of JPG hmmm… dont do that …better you stay with RAW. And the complete process is restating again. You rethink the situation, your and her emotions, your intentions and the result. And now you can visualize your final ideas which could not be done in the setup.

The kind of colorization, the type of blending the bloom with her body are such things which are hard to realize for an amateur but can easily be done in post processing. Go, leave your house for a while and shoot flowers, plants, the grass, trees, landscapes even insects or animals. I do so, even night scenes with blurred lights. Just to have material for further use in pictures i have no idea of until now. One never knows. Its better to be prepared :)

While testing an older type lens on Bokeh i asked her to wear those “flower-crown” as well. Just to spice it up a bit. Look what she did. And i had the idea to produce some really flower powered new pictures derived from Mother Nature idea. Easy to produce and colorful

Dark rose

Just two roses, placed on the desk ?? No ! I took the picture in the garden while searching little creatures like spider, bugs etc. Long time forgotten to work on this but while creating d´the “Dark Series” it came avon to my mind and i did a b&w conversion to achieve the dark look here as well. Looks great in large print.

After the rain everything in Mother Natures garden look even more beautiful. Not only wet, but brighter, more colorful. The air is clear, no dust, no fog, just clear view. So take your cam, mount you macro and look the flowers… like i did !

Down onto your knees and even lower. Use the articulated screen of your camera or look thru the plugin-EVF tilted upwards and discover the world of macro. See it. See them, those little insects crawling on the bloom. The highwaymen :) Ah, you should use your macro lens as well.

It can be seen in your garden, the rotten one :), before cleaning it up, removing all that dead things, dry, drought, harsh, But look twice and dicover the beauty of dead things. Nature is full of surprise..

Spring spring spring

Spring is all around us and we can see it, feel, it, even taste it. But have a close look to your garden. Something is happening there as well. See the skeleton blooms, the dead, the frozen plants. Yes, they are dead but still beautiful and full of grace. It will not last for long and they are food for bugs and their kiddies and new blooms will arise as well.

Spring is in the air

What a wonderful surprise. The sky is blue, only small and white clouds, bright sun and its getting warmer. A look to the ground shows, that mother nature is doing its job. The first plants brings out their blooms. That is such awonder after the last very long lasting and cold winter. But finally, it is back: the spring ! Happy faces all over in the town. Everyone is out, preparing the garden season, opening even the BBQ season :) Bird singing, bees humming around. What a wonderful day.

Mother Nature

Mother Nature is still by far the best architect, the best artist, the best visagist, the best stylist. Go down the streets and have a look to the left and to the right. Look for rotten flowers, dead or dying blooms and take shots of them in their process of dying, going to recover in next spring…
