.. yes, a cat, that is what she is. A cat. Look how she placed herself on the sofa, slightly wrapped into the veil. And look her face. I think she enjoys the situation and a touch of sensual female expression jumping over her face. Keep in mind, she is a 100% amateur with no posing skills at all.

And she did very well.

The cats

It happens sometimes … The scenery was well planned and everything was in place. She, acting as prepared, 100% as planned. And suddenly the unforeseeable happend. A cat walked thru the set. The cat walked proud, its tail up into the air, walked very slow, watching for attention and purred as a cat can, looking for love. It changed the complete set. But instead of chasing the cat away, i took the picture now with two cats, purring, watching and looking for attention :) Thats best !

And suddenly, when the cat had enough attention, it jumped away without a word, without a noise. And the other cat, looking in her direction, smiling, rearranging… without a noise, that is fun!

Olympus E-M5, ISO200, 1/160 second, f1.8 and only one single flash again bounce thru the room, flagged. Ahhh, yes M.Zuiko 45 mm

I don´t have a model

Often heard and it is NOT true. No excuse. Open your eyes. Do you have a pet ?? Yes ? And Whamm, there you have your model. A dog, a mouse, a hedgehog, a cat. Learn how they behave, how they move and how they react. Use it to set them into place. Observe them closely what they do and shoot, shoot, shoot. Do not flash into their eyes ! They do not like harsh light and will react with instant escape. Feed them, get them “acclimated” to the camera so they put together “Camera – Food ” and they will be perfect models for you

Even cats can work for you in such way. Cats, you know, not those with 2 legs…. :) This one shown above is a terrible fighter and the 1000% feared monster tomcat nearby but when he sees my camera he starts being friendly, purring, waiting for tasty food. It works :) The cats with 2 legs need different things to get them purr :)

It is easier with a dog. I think they are more intelligent or just more hungry :) See the lovely LULU. We will never forget her …

The cat survived

It was a good decision to use the fur of a winter jacket and not a cat bent around her neck…the cat would not have survived. But cats have 9 lifes ? Is it so ?? Okay, we decided to accept this statement unproofed and put the alternative fur around her.

Is this okay for you ?? She felt fine with that :) Olympus E-5, ISO200, 1/30 second, f3.9, 45 mm focal length, Zuiko 12-60SWD and again one single flash bounced to my left into a white wall. Again no tricks…
