As i always say: GO closer to your subject. Let it fill your viewfinder and than, go a bit closer until you reach the minimum focal distance. Set the focus to the nearest eye, keep calm and take your pictures. Yes i know, you can smell her skin, that is ok, but you are a PRO. Ignore it and concentrate on your job. Take the shot. It is again a proof for a working emotional layer. If it is not set up, she will never let you come soooo close to her . So work on that.

As i always said, you do not need the leading edge cameras, the most expensive systems, lenses and light systems to get good pictures. It is always YOU who produces the pictures. And i can proof that statement.

Here you see a bride, dancing. The picture was made with a compact camera.ISO800, automatic flash, 1/25 second. But what you can see also is: deep point of view, complete framing, close to the subject and let her go ….. catch the moment, show the movement. So again, what are you waiting for ???

Jimi is late. No idea when he will arrive. But in the meantime she starts to flirt with the camera or the one behind it. That is indeed a proof for a well established emotional layer.

Go close to your model, let the viewfinder be full with her, so she is the important thing, the center of your picture. Do not step back too far, it is better to be a bit too close :) She will give you a clear signal when you are too close, until than, go closer and have fun !

Really hard to resist. Don´t even think about it, stay calm, breath…be professional ! And take your pictures. Enjoy the boys view and smile. You are in a wonderful position :)
