Enjoy them, enjoy what you can do with a portrait. Starting point is always a classic portrait with all the stuff you already know. The make up, the tricky hairdressing, the wardrobe, the pose, the facial expression and all this little things need to compose an attractive portrait. Do not forget earrings, necklaces and such stuff girls always love.

After this is all done you can start the second part of the job. Cut her free from the background, layer it, compose the mood you have in mind. Add some other things to the layers for adjusting. This is something which need some experience. You should already know what a layer is and how a mask is working. Otherwise you will fail. But here, it was fun, fun and again fun.

It is great honor being invited to a Serails. And it is an expression of great trust to have the allowance for photography within the serial. This picture done on the roof of the Serail with the cityscape in the background. It is so nice to view. But OK, you are right, it is a fake :) Just a composing again :) Hope you enjoy it nevertheless …

Tribal Queen at the window

Here is another one from the series. It combines the “Dark Series” technique with portrait style and indian tribal attributes. It give a different touch, a different atmosphere to the picture. And again i have to say: It is easy to produce such scenes. It is just one single strobe, off camera and placed left to me, working thru a small soft box. The B&W conversion is done in post processing.

It is always a question of taste. Is it better to do it in color or in b&W ?? What do you prefer ?

Dandelions flight

It is their time now. You can see them everywhere coming thru the grass. White globes sitting an long green shafts. And when it is time and a bit of helping wind is around you can see their seeds flying thru the air. That is a wonderful moment, enchanted. Watch them landing, see them them in the early morning covered and kissed by the morning dew.

Galactic hero: Sir Fur

Requested by the very young kids, animated by the fantastic stories of the “Galactic Heroes”, they wanted to see a proof, a proof of their real existence. Their arguments so clean and direct: “You can do photos, so give us a real photo of them” Well, i did it and presented the leader of the Galactic Heroes: Sir Fur. The fighter for justice and freedom , The real leader of an real team of “Galactic Heroes”. Boy i don’t want to think about the consequences in future when they discover my fake :)

Dance with me in this hot, golden light of beginning dusk. Touch the sky, feel the emotion, feel the power. Thats what this tree tells. And you would be foul not hearing what it says. So sit down, watch the gentle move f its leaves in th golden light of beginning dusk, the late afternoon, see its arms reaching for the sky, touching heaven, embracing the sky, connecting Mother Earth and Father heaven. Embrace it and dance with the tree…establish an emotional layer between you and the tree. Let it work.

The flowers were newly done but to be fair , its a bit boring …. but combined with a former work it gives a total different approach. Suddenly there is massive attraction…

Nature is full of colors and surprise. Strolling thru the green grass thru the bushes and suddenly it is there: The surprise, a yellow rose in all its color, its beauty and its pride. No chance, i had to take a picture of such attractive beauty. At home i decided to combine the bare rose with a feather and some green background structure, giving a vintage look to the complete scene. And ready it is:
