Look to the developed version and and just play a bit with the old original version. Let your creativity room, be inspired and look at the end where it led you to. In most cases you will see a new interpretation of the old theme. If you are not happy with that new version, do not delete it, modify it instead until your are really happy with it again. See downunder example.
