No, this is not inspired by Resident Evil, no, this is just a try to visualize the Dark Side, the other side beyond beauty. It is easy to do, just a massive desaturation of the skin, darken eyes, background, adding a new color styled layer, blending this and that. You can do an Internet search on “Dark Art” to find a DIY instruction as well or on Youtube. There a quite a lot of videos on that theme. Try it. Its fun. But be warned: Your model may take the stick and beat you for what you are doing. So ask her first !

It is a cruel game. Those two guys showing an excellent art of knife fight, an in fight, fast and furious. They had no fear handling and managing such dangerous weapons

But at last there must be a winner, One to survive, one to loose, one to die … must it ???

In the end he took his life … but only in the show !

That´s what girls are. The complete storyboard can change within a second and it is your task to make the best out of it. To show her from her best side. Do not start discussing, you will loose … for sure. In consequence she will raise up, annoyed, leaving the scenery. So what ?? Just accept and do your job. And it is pure excitement being confronted with a new story at all. So be creative, be inspired … :) It is all about fun.

One example here: We planned to do some snaps with Taro cards, pink veils, red fabric on the wooden ground. Everything was fine, when she suddenly started a flirt with the cam !! Should i stop her ?? No…. never….give room for new ideas ! And i had a smile in my face. While acting, she always lost one of her long, metal needles, used to fix her wild hair into position. We took that and created another story around that needle….and while working on the needle theme the Angel of Revenge came to our minds…. Yes that was a successful shooting day.

Yes she knows how to play that roles …And again it was all done with: Olympus E-M5, Zuiko 45mm, f1.8, ISO200, 1/100 second and only one single flash set to 1/32 power…. and a little bit of post processing
