Just two roses, placed on the desk ?? No ! I took the picture in the garden while searching little creatures like spider, bugs etc. Long time forgotten to work on this but while creating d´the “Dark Series” it came avon to my mind and i did a b&w conversion to achieve the dark look here as well. Looks great in large print.

Give me a simple look. That is the idea behind this portrait. Simple approach, direct and straight. Spiced it up with a little post precessing, adding the Sepia-Look. And it is the answer on the question whether the “Dark Series” can have color as well. Yes it can. As you may see here a s a proof. Now have fun and enjoy.

Its easy ?? No, it is not ! Even when it looks easy but girls are always nervous regarding they appearance. Just wrap around that long red fabrics is a bunch of work. Not only around, around, around, around and ready. Oh no, that is too easy, It must fit a bit, but only a bit, needs to be a bit loose, not to much, let a bit shine thru, only a bit. Oh boy… but in the end i succeeded and while she was posing, making faces.. :) i tried to snap some usable pictures.

Olympus E-M1, Summilux 25, 1/160 second, f1.4 and only one flash light in a soft box on a light stand…You can do such too… try it

When darkness touches your heart it freezes within a second. All good things will turn into bad, the bad become present and almighty. Your light vanishes and darkness is all around you. Yes, this is a warning. Do not let the Dark into your heart. It will eat you. But visualize the darkness, show its power, its cruel negative energy, even when your social environment say:” Ihhhh, such ugly…!” It is intention and the reaction is a feedback of success…

Thousands of of visitors, crowed on the frozen beach of Zingst, waiting for the grand opening of the “Umweltfotofestival” which is an spectacular laser and firework show. It has now about -20°C, we all wrapped in layers of anti-freeze materials. 3 pairs of gloves on the fingers, 3 Jackets, two pairs of shoes, lots of Wodka. And here it comes: The awake of the Dragon, heading for the sky…

This is just another example of how extreme photographic work can go. I know, it is extreme. You may like it, like its extreme colors, its structures, its hard contrasts and grungy look. But you may also dislike it for the same reasons. Such work is polarizing, i know, and you should know such as well. But i can promise you, it was great fun producing the image, making the make up, the scene, taking the photos and finalizing them in PP. So, enjoy or hate it…. as you like … ah, just to mention it: only possible with a working emotional layer… otherwise she would beat you for the picture
