Just to give my eyes a different kind of visual food i confronted them with trees, green grass and such stuff. I found it in Pillnitz, near Dresden. We made a steamboat tour to the beautiful palace of Pillnitz and the fantastic garden installation. There forest and its garden are stunning. If you ever have the chance to visit it, do it !

Teide

If you ever have the chance to visit the island Teneriffe, do not miss Teide National Park. It is a fantastic vulcano landscape. Go there and if you are lucky, catching a slight cloudy day you have to pass the clouds to reach the top. Slow down in the cloud area and enjoy this spooky atmosphere. Just like i did. Wait for a while, for the best light, perhaps you will get the lucky kiss of the sun breaking thru the clouds… enjoy.

Death of an angel

Did you think an angel´s life is forever ? Don´t think so. This is what i found walking thru the nearby forest….. it looks like a heavy fight, a bloody and heavy one and it looks like the angel lost its life, the soul is just vanishing … who was the winner ?? I could not see a demon or a devil….

Walking with the dog, walking and running into the forest. Looking big and mighty an old trees. Fun for the dog, finding things to hunt… deeper and deeper into the darker forest. Light ?? Vanishing and suddenly a light. We entered a small glade. “Help, help, free me, please …” I looked up and i saw her, caged into the iron jail, hanging down from an old oaktree. “I am not a witch, believe me …., free me please ”

Impressive, isn´t ??? Would you free her ?

Spooky

Today you see a total different thing. My spooky forest. See these dark big trees, with its cold fingers up into the sky. See the light breaking thru the branches. Would you like having a walk thru my spooky forest ??

I can promise, you will enjoy it. The spooky forest does not exist. Just in my and your imagination. In reality it is a wonderful bright tree. See here:

How i did it ?? Easy. Just one shot with my infamous E-P3 and the miraculous Zuiko 12mm. In PP i made tree new copies of the original layer and blended them together with blending mode Multiply. Opacities adjusted per layer. Thru individual masks i removed sharp edges. The last was converting it into b&w and a little curves and levels. Add a little grain to it. Thats all about it. 5 minutes works.

Don´t tell me you cannot find any interesting objects. I can ! So you can too ! It is easy. Try to see your world thru a viewfinder. Forming a viewfinder with your fingers will help a lot and suddenly you see a different world within yours. And please: The best light is the morning light !

It is like transparent gold, breaking thru the thick forest, lighten the leaves, painting them gold, sunlight at its best. But be awake early or you will never see such colors in natures but only in photoshop.
