What a fight. Both were great swordsman. They handled their razorsharp mighty blades as experts, trying to be the winner in this cruel game. But we all know, there is always ONE winner and the other one is forgotten soon, while his bones lying on the bloody battlefield. One mighty blow of his swords ripped his throat and damned him to death. In that second he did not recognized what was going on, while his blood pumped out of his so badly injured body. Within a second he fall done to the ground, unable to move, no life anymore in his body.

Hey, that is just fantasy. No one was hurt. Just another wonderful example of the the fighting skills of the Fighting Crew FICTUM. If you have the chance to watch their dramatic show, do it !

Revenge

Poor guy, he lost his fight. You saw it in the past pictures. But he asked for revenge. And this time it was just a short fight. A quick move, a side step. One scream and his dagger took a deep dive thru his enemies body.

His punch was so powerfull it even lifted his opponents body off the ground. That is revenge !

Kill move

You remember old PC fight games ?? In one of them you could fight against various opponents and when were successful you had the chance to practice one secret and brutal move “Kill move” Tear out his bones, or other brutal things. See this lance fighter who is doing his deadly moves, swinging his bloody blade against his enemy, just trying to cut him down into pieces. Like the ancient Samurai wifes with their Naginatas…

Again just the Olympus E-M5, ISO200, f4.5, 1/1000 second, Zuiko 45 mm… and only the sun as main light :)

It is a cruel game. Those two guys showing an excellent art of knife fight, an in fight, fast and furious. They had no fear handling and managing such dangerous weapons

But at last there must be a winner, One to survive, one to loose, one to die … must it ???

In the end he took his life … but only in the show !

As a samurai´s wife she has to be strong and well trained. The use of a weapon, knife, sword or whatsoever, is must. So she used it without any hesitation. Win or die, she is the winner.

Her enemy always in view, ready to cut, ready for the final blow. And she did it !

And she turned around and faded away ….

Again done with Olympus E-P3, Zuiko 45 mm @ f1.8, ISO200, no flashgun used. And no studio used either :) You can do such at your home as well

Even in the steamy hot and wet bathroom she did her bloody work, fast, precise, cut after cut. Her green eyes glowing thru the steam until she is safe again and there is no sign of life showing up in her enemies.

And after everything is completed she looked around, watching the bloody scene and she started to do what every girl is doing when the rooms are somehow dirty: Clean up that bloody mess before her husband will return !

And when he returns he will find a wonderful looking, handsome woman, purring like a cat…and he will be a very happy man !

So what … ?

She can´t take a joke :)…. I told you, its always a good idea to tell a story with your picture. And best of all, when such pictures create great cinema in the heads of your observers.. Okay here is another picture – cinema or what …

And again, it is done with the Olympus E-P3, M. Zuiko 45 mm @ f1.8, 1/60 second, no flashgun used….. and ISO 200… so, you can do such things as well. Give it a try.

The way into death

I can hear the audience shouting with greedy demand for blood. I can see them , Gladiators, walking down this ways, not knowing whether they survive or not … Minutes ago they were still friends, but now enemies. Who will start the kill ? Who will feed the arenas sand first with his blood ?? Who is the first to kill and to be killed ? Is there real honor while dying in the sand, hearing the taunting laughter from the audience ??

And only minutes later they are friends again. Trying to heal each others wounds. Full of sorrow. What have they done ?? What was done to them ??

Such thoughts running thru the mind when visiting ancient ruins full of history. Try to visualize them. Look to your picture and think! How to express this mood ?? Remove all visible modern things like cables, lights, etc., convert to b&w. Increase contrast and sharpness. Best to do with layers so you can control the effects much easier. Add a dramatic vignette. And that´s it.

Base picture was done with: Olympus E-3, Zuiko 12-60 SWD, 18 mm focal length, f4.5, 1/60 second, no flash, no tripod. And i knew from the moment i took this picture that i have to work on it !
