Although fully equipped with everything she need for her job as an angel, she is indeed looking sad. Perhaps her emotions regarding her next job ?? What is the valid reason for her sadness ? What is her next job ? What to do releasing such emotions ? And, will she execute the job ??

And thats the point: A story in a picture. If something is happening in your head while looking at a picture, than the pictures works… Its is up to YOU producing speaking pictures. Those are the pictures which will be looked at all the time even years later.

What a difference a veil makes. As said earlier, let her play with that thing and watch what she is doing. Catch the moment, thats what’s your job. Here you see her suddenly sitting like Buddah, in the Lotus way … not too bad … To match the power of this scene i decided to convert into a powerful, punchy b&w picture.

A penny for your thoughts… thats what i often ask myself when shooting woman with such sentimental facial expression. But i do never ask them for real. If there is anything they want to tell, they will. But it is not our task as photographer to ask them beyond feelings. This is a proof for trust and working emotional layer. As said so, she went sad … The roleplay ended. The photo session was over, all scenes were done and she was instantly transferred back to reality. What a shock. And i got this look of her:

I could nor resist. It was a genetic caused move :) raise the cam, press the button, catch the picture. And she liked it :)

Walking with the dog, walking and running into the forest. Looking big and mighty an old trees. Fun for the dog, finding things to hunt… deeper and deeper into the darker forest. Light ?? Vanishing and suddenly a light. We entered a small glade. “Help, help, free me, please …” I looked up and i saw her, caged into the iron jail, hanging down from an old oaktree. “I am not a witch, believe me …., free me please ”
