Well, you have everything you need for such pictures already in your bag. A camera, a flash, a 50 mm or equivalent lens. A bit of jewelry, stands, a veil and a model willing to pose for you. So, what can stop you ?? Nothing. Place her on the sofa, wrap her into the veil and put the jewelry on her. Have a light to her side and start working. It is that easy. A bit of post processing is needed afterwards. But that is different thing to be discussed later.

The Dark side

No, this is not inspired by Resident Evil, no, this is just a try to visualize the Dark Side, the other side beyond beauty. It is easy to do, just a massive desaturation of the skin, darken eyes, background, adding a new color styled layer, blending this and that. You can do an Internet search on “Dark Art” to find a DIY instruction as well or on Youtube. There a quite a lot of videos on that theme. Try it. Its fun. But be warned: Your model may take the stick and beat you for what you are doing. So ask her first !

On special request i reworked one actual photo to match a demand. I reverted it from B&W into a color version, with a slight desaturation of her skin. Just to get her lips more prominent, combining them with the strong color of her silk Sari. So we see a bridging from the Sari to her lips, to her eyes, to Krishnas eye in the background, moving up to the skay. What a great idea.
