Here is another one from the series. It combines the “Dark Series” technique with portrait style and indian tribal attributes. It give a different touch, a different atmosphere to the picture. And again i have to say: It is easy to produce such scenes. It is just one single strobe, off camera and placed left to me, working thru a small soft box. The B&W conversion is done in post processing.

Well, you have everything you need for such pictures already in your bag. A camera, a flash, a 50 mm or equivalent lens. A bit of jewelry, stands, a veil and a model willing to pose for you. So, what can stop you ?? Nothing. Place her on the sofa, wrap her into the veil and put the jewelry on her. Have a light to her side and start working. It is that easy. A bit of post processing is needed afterwards. But that is different thing to be discussed later.

Today we go into details: Jewelry, necklace, bracelet, rings. I took some tribal gems. Whatever you can find will fit too. Those details are a great stuff for stills. Place them on some dark veil or fabrics and take your picture. You can even combine it with a sweet texture to get some special effects to it or convert it into a strong BW composition as i did.
