Just testing new equipment, a new parabola softbox, a new and fas lens. So i put two scarf together into the scene wrapped her in a quick and dirty way and took some snaps, varying the angel of shooting and the flash paramters to get an impression of the ligth rendering the new softbox will do.

And YES i am really satisfied with the results. Lens and softbox did a stunning job. Oh, yes, sorry, she did it it also …

Do you really think only the young and only the slimmest girls can do a beautiful and stunning job in front of your camera ? Ever thought it could be a mistake ? Ask a mature Lady and you will be surprised. They can do that job and they will do it for sure. My expereinece is that the more skilled and more experienced Ladies are so wonderful in front of the cam. They do not produce any trouble, the do not hesitate in posing, they just know how they have impact to the scene. Yes, they need guidance for sure and yes they may have let me say more curvy bodies. But that produces a different kind of tension. A different kind of emotions, sensuality and erotic touch. It is way more realistic

And yes, they have imperfections. That is your task to minimize such. Set the light accordingly, minimize and even their natural skin imperfections, their little wrinkles. Even in pos production you have the chance to give back some years, to repaint her with a touch of new reached youth. Try it. She will like it and you as well. For sure. BTW: its easier to get them acting in front of your cam simply because of her life experience.

And i never asked her to lift the veil. Did you ever recognized that a woman only hardly covered with fabrics looks even more sexy than a complete nude one ? Do not forget the hair make up, her pose, her hands and her lovely smile. It is because your own imagination, your own phantasy. The pictures established an emotional layer with YOU and it works …

As i told before: Be creative, be inspired. It is a simple and easy process to think about a picture. You may use the classic painters as source for your own inspirations or your very personal phantasy, dreams or emotions for expressional work. This one here, derives from an idea i had in the evening, while watching TV :) What a lousy TV show it was. But that gave me room to develop this idea. Next morning i realized it. Do you like such ??

The Picture is done in the same simple way than ever: Olympus EM-1 + M.Zuiko 12-40, one spelling Metz 58 in M mode, cam in M mode as well.

Again you can see a single light flash with softball and a reflector from the other side, filling the shadows. And again a simple setup. No tricks Everything, flash and cam were set to M Mode. Do not trust TTL. It will give no constant light from shoot to shoot. But M mode does.
By the way, a breathtaking girl, Sandra, the new face. A wonderful woman, a wonderful soul…

Here ist the proof. And i have to say it was such a pleasure and great fun to shoot with this extraordinary and beautiful woman. Thanks Sandra. And for all followers: It is not that difficult to get pictures like that. This was a simple one light shoot. The little Octa-Firefly right above her an me balancing on the edge of the bed. Josh, thats dangerous, really dangerous. Look her facial expression, her pose, how she attracts and seduce. The rest is simply done by a bit of post processing. Nothing special

Sad angel

Although fully equipped with everything she need for her job as an angel, she is indeed looking sad. Perhaps her emotions regarding her next job ?? What is the valid reason for her sadness ? What is her next job ? What to do releasing such emotions ? And, will she execute the job ??

And thats the point: A story in a picture. If something is happening in your head while looking at a picture, than the pictures works… Its is up to YOU producing speaking pictures. Those are the pictures which will be looked at all the time even years later.
