Go for Hipsta
Brush up your pictures. It doe not matter if they are RAW or JPG format. But give them a completely new look. Hipstamatic is Hip, is in, is everyones friend. So why do you hesitate converting one or two of your already made pictures to the new style ? It is easy. Just a play with curves :) The Gimp will do the job as well as Photoshop Express, Lightroom. All software which can do curves adjustments can produce the look. So give it a try.
