A new lens in the bag. 17 mm f1.8 for Olympus mFT system. That means 34 mm f1.8 in 24×36 mm sensor size….. sounds good. And YES it is more than good. It is excellent. I tried it in a portrait shooting session. Oh, i know, wide angle lenses should not be used in portrait situations but i thought its worth a try. I was surprised from the results. Superb speed, excellent resolution and sharpness. Way too sharp for portraits. I decided to work it out in CSx and soften it a bit, convert it even into a strong B&W pictures. And here it is:
