At a window

What a window can do for you is very easy to see, to discover. Its flooding the room with light and when you place your model close enough to that light source you will discover a luxury problem: Way too much light for large apertures :) Okay, lower the ISO, ramp up shutter speed or even add ND filter is a way to deal with such. Another way is to direct the light by flagging it. Use some dark, black, foamy sheets. Place them around her, forming a tunnel. That gives you the chance to direct the light to where YOU want it to be. Try it. Its easy…

  • You statement ist 100% correct. I tried it with my girlfriend as well. Used a pink veil to wrap her into. It works !.
We flagged the light with large foam sheets painted black and placed the left and right from her.

    Thanx for your tip
