The gift

Today he decided to leave the office a bit earlier. All of his co-workers already in christmas mood. Buh, that was not his thing. So he felt it a good idea to flee the situation. Pre-christmas time made him always sad feeling. Running thru his experiences he had this year all acts reagarding Mrs. Robinson came to his mind. She was always the winner and showed him that she will always win, never he. He checked his right eye again. Well, the Tattoo Ink was not visible anymore, he was happy with this. It was crazy, he had to explain how that came and he created a ridiculous story which nobody believed. She made a clown out of him. Such thoughts in mind he reached his house and as ever he opened his letterbox first. Invoices, some X-Mas cards and a big white envelope, rolled not bended. “Curious”, he thought. But he took it into his house and as always he put all the letters to his desk. As always …
He took a shower and had a little snack, ready for a sweet and nice television evening, no more Mrs. Robinson adventures he decided. So he took a look and opened his letters. Invoices, advertising all of this stuff. He opened the big and white envelope. Something strange inside. He took it bottom up, shaking it gently and out came a small piece of paper, with some handwritings on it and a big, excellent printed black and white photo of: Mrs. Robinson. His throat went dry in a second, his pulse up to 450 and his face went red…BANG his blood pressure at maximum. He took the paper, reading: “This is for you, my dear. Take it as my X-Mas gift to you. It is from my “Bad Girl” series.”

Yes. That it is. From her “Bad girl” series. She is a bad girl. Any trick, any trap connected to this picture ?? Any glue or hidden ink on the paper or even on the picture ?? No, this time not. Any explosives hidden in the envelope ?? No thin wires … he checked that ! “Wow”, he thought. “This time no punch, no kick against my head, no smashed door, inked eye” He was happy about that. But as always, Mrs. Robinson did the gift not without any thoughts. She knows very well, that inspiration and motivation is needed to keep a fan a fan. Feeding him with a goodie is like an invitation for more…. and she was right ! But we will see later ….

Again Olympus E-5, ISO400, Zuiko 50 mm, f2 and a flash bounced left over my shoulder against the white wall. Sorry, no tricks…
